SGS Solutions provides capacity building services to non-profit organizations, private foundations and for-profit corporations. The firm's work focuses on strategic planning, organizational audits, funds development and marketing communications. SGS Solutions is committed to assisting clients with transforming their goals into tangible results.

Prior to creating her own firm, Ms. Saunders served as the Grants Administrator for a large family foundation in Texas. Ms. Saunders started a nonprofit organization leading its operations for the first six years. Also, Ms. Saunders served as a senior executive for a large international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. She consulted on large multi-country projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Near East, primarily in the health field. She has worked extensively with public and private sector partners around the world, facilitating and leading multi-disciplinary teams with complex assignments.

Early in her career, Ms. Saunders assisted with the start up of a consulting business in Washington, D.C. She initiated and managed the international division that comprised eighty percent of the firm's business in less than six years. Her first job out of college was in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where she was placed in a management capacity after five months of work.

Ms. Saunders earned her B.A. from Mills College in Oakland, California. She received a Masters degree in Public Administration - M.P.A. - from American University in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Association of Philanthropic Counsel and the International Association of Facilitators.
