Michael Godnick & Associates provides consulting services to nonprofit organizations in the areas of fundraising, board development, executive search and institutional planning. Committed to personal, individualized attention to develop its clients' resources and ability to achieve success, the firm's clients include cultural, educational, health and social organizations.

The firm was founded by Michael Godnick in 1996, Michael's career spans more than 22 years working as a development and marketing professional in the nonprofit sector. Michael serves on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and received the chapter's 2000 President's Award for distinguished service and dedication to the fundraising profession. He is also a member of the Indianapolis and Milwaukee chapters of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Michael serves on the Advisory Board for the Nonprofit Development Program at Northwestern University and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Association of Nonprofit Organizations and Whirlwind, a nationally recognized innovator of of arts-in-education programs for at-risk children. He is a frequent guest teacher and lecturer for a number of organizations and educational institutions including the Arts & Business Council of Chicago, City of Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs, League of Chicago Theatres, School of the Art Institute and Roosevelt University.

Michael is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Michael Godnick & Associates is a member of the National Association of Executive Recruiters and a Forum partner of The Donors Forum of Chicago.
