Andrea McManus, CFRE, President of The Development Group. has over 23 years experience in fund development, communications, media, public relations and marketing and  has worked with a wide variety of local and national non-profit and for-profit organizations in the health, social services, arts and education services.

A leader in the nonprofit sector locally, nationally and internationally, Andrea is currently Chair Elect of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) International Board, the largest professional fundraising association in the world. She will become the first non-American and international chair of AFP in 2010 and 2011. Andrea is also Chair of the Calgary Chamber of Voluntary Organizations, a member of the Advisory Council for the Institute of Non-Profit Studies at Mount Royal College, a member of Imagine Canada’s Ethical Code Committee and an advisory member of the Canada Revenue Agency Charities Technical Issues Working Group.
